Position Description:

  • Reporting to the Cyber Security Manager the Security Analyst will be working across multiple Atlas departments.
  • Security platform operations: maintaining and operating security systems for monitoring, analysis, forensics and investigation
  • Incident support: Development and testing of incident response plans, use cases, integration and reporting. Investigating events and alerts and providing support and remediation assistance
  • Education and training: Assisting in the planning and execution of awareness and training exercises targeted at various audiences from senior management to operational personnel

 

Job Responsibilities:

· Acting as the primary analyst for a group of systems with a wide geographic distribution

· Assisting with architecture and implementation of cyber security infrastructure and systems for new projects

· Participate in cyber security investigations across Atlas subsidiary companies

· Conduct research into risks and threats, perform cyber security risk assessments with cross-functional teams

· Participate in Change Advisory Board reviews, providing input on cyber security matters

· Perform audits on IT and OT systems to ensure compliance with internal cyber security policies while fulfilling internal audit requirements for the IT component of SOX and other industry and contractual requirements

· Lead incident response preparedness exercises

· Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to develop and test system recovery plans for business and operational systems

· Perform system vulnerability scans and develop and implement remediation plans

Perform access reviews of privileged account use

 

Requirements:

· Experience with configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of FortiNet/FortiGate firewalls and zero-trust network acces

· Network Security Engineer (NSE) certification would be an advantage

· Proven experience in Cyber Security with specific experience securing Operational and Information technologies

· Knowledge of the trends, principles, standards, practices and tools pertaining to Cyber Security

· Knowledge of corporate, mission critical systems environments, computer technology & infrastructure

· Hands-on experience with distributed firewall and endpoint detection and response technologies

· Degree or diploma, preferably with a focus on information security

 

Additional Desired Qualifications:

 

· 3 plus years of experience in the IT security space, ideally with hands on experience as an analyst

· Proven experience in Business Continuity

· Hands on experience with information security controls

· Broad understanding of networking technology, server infrastructure, various communication protocols, operating systems, hardware platforms, data center operations, telecommunications, virtualization, storage technologies, remote user management, and database security

· Experience with data, network and internet security technologies and products including firewalls, routers, network intrusion prevention, host-based intrusion detection devices, file integrity monitoring systems, vulnerability testing, encryption key management, security information and event management systems.
