Job Summary

Responsible for managing the US and International tax reporting and compliance (indirect and direct) functions. Oversees the preparation of all tax filings and reporting in compliance. Evaluates the tax implications of new opportunities/deals and works with team to develop strategies to minimize the tax obligations. Team player who manages the APR team to greater performance, creates and implements tax plans and works with the accounting, finance, treasury and other teams. Monitors current and impending changes to tax regulations and make appropriate updates to policies and strategies. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Reports to APR Energy Global Director of Tax.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Assist with gathering documentation and analyzing for International and US Income Tax Filings prepared by outside consultants

• Prepare and Assist in preparation of the Monthly, Quarterly and Annually Income Tax Provision, through OneSource Tax Provision ("OTP")

• Support APR Energy Global Director of Tax to work with internal team and outside consultants on new contract opportunities to communicate tax consequences, reporting obligations and risks.

• Support APR Energy Global Director of Tax and outside consultants on overall entity tax effective restructure

• Manage Transfer Pricing Documentation – coordinate local consultants and intercompany agreements

• Oversee preparation of monthly tax reconciliations of all tax-related general ledger accounts

• Prepare and/or oversee preparation of tax disclosures for financial reporting

• Coordinate with outside consultants concerning VAT and other indirect taxation

• Document Tax Related Processes for SOX documentation

• Perform tax research and consulting, as necessary

• Process tax calculations for budgeting and forecasting for Treasury and Finance

• Keep current on latest tax developments, including regulations, case law and policies

• Identify, analyze and recommend process improvement opportunities and contribute to develop


• Work effectively with other areas of Corporate Taxation and other Finance functions, and demonstrate leadership in cross-functional initiatives.



• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in tax, including at least five years of international

tax experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


Preferred Education and competencies:

• Masters in Tax/MBA and or CPA preferred, but not required

• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word.

• OneSource Tax Provision experience


Travel Requirements: Less than 25% domestic.
