Intern - Business Transformation

Position Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Business Transformation Team as Summer Intern. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on exciting transformation projects and gain valuable experience in the field of Business and Digital Transformation.

Job Responsibilities

•    Assist in gathering stakeholder requirements for delivering process automations. 
•    Continuously improves operational data strategy for accuracy, transparency, efficiency, and user experience.
•    Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of process streamlining, simplification and automation.
•    Collaborating with team members to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
•    Documenting processes and solutions to ensure clear and effective communication.
•    Supporting the team with any additional tasks as needed

•    Participate in the Company's intern working group project, collaborting with team members from diverse departments at Seaspan. 

Skills & Requirements

•    Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Leadership or a related field.
•    Knowledge of RPA concepts and technologies, understanding about developments in AI or predictive analytics is desirable.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Technology enthusiast who can source innovative digital ideas/technology.

Compensation and Benefits package
Seaspan’s total compensation is based on our pay-for-performance philosophy that rewards team members who deliver on and demonstrate our high-performance culture. The hiring range for this position is $21 - $23 CAD per hour. The exact base salary offered will be commensurate with the incumbent’s experience, job-related skills and knowledge, and internal pay equity.
