dedicated to the safe, reliable, and economical operation of our fleet.
The Ship Management Intern will report to the Fleet Manager and work with the Fleet Management Team to review maintenance procedures and incorporate various preparations and checklists to ensure tracking.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reviewing of maintenance procedures, in particular Deck Maintenance;
- Tracking various preparations and checklists;
- Review Drydock module in FMS enhancement;
- Support the team in identifying and leading with contracts for alternate spare parts (OEM and Generic);
- Support with FMS updates in preparing maintenance data sheets using FMS templates;
- Prepare various new equipment BWTS /EGCS compliance checks;
- Prepare reference check sheets and incorporate in FMS;
- Performs other duties as directed by the Fleet Manager.
